Espacio Puerta
This project was commissioned by Puerta, a cultural space in Bilbao dedicated to the organisation of workshops, joint working sessions, meetings, film screenings, debates and other types events for the exchange of ideas among artists.
Puerta being a space run by and for artists, I had absolute freedom when designing my contribution. I was commissioned to design the curtains for two large windows as well as for three smaller ones. I created a digital, geometric design that created a discreet optical effect for the larger windows and a contrasting pastel drawing based on natural wood patterns and printed on fabric for the smaller ones.
This project also benefitted from a contribution by the artist Kiko Pérez, who designed the exterior decoration.
