The practical side of the workshop aims at providing each participant with the knowledge and skills required to take their design project to fruition, from conceiving the the original idea to seeing it materialized as a finished product, in the form of a digitally printed textile.
The theoretical content will address the specific processes involved in the creation of a repetitive graphic pattern, and the differences between traditional and digital printing, focusing on the latter to explore the great variety of possibilities and to deal more in depth with the issues that define the results.
Particular attention will be given to digital textile printing and to the latest products made from inks and electroluminescent fabrics.
Miquel Ridao, an expert in electronic textiles, will participate in the workshop sharing his expertise in the field.

Ikastaroaren helburua parte hartzaile bakoitzak diseinu-proiektu bat egitea da, bere osotasunean, jatorrizko ideiatik hasi eta oihalean modu digitalean estanpatutako azken emaitzaraino.
Eduki teorikoak, besteak beste, errepikapenerako patroi grafikoa nola sortu eta estanpazio tradizionalaren eta digitalaren arteko ezberdintasunak azalduko dizkigu, azken helburu horri arreta berezia eskainiz, estanpazio digitalak egun ematen dituen hainbat aukera ezagutu eta emaitzek pizten dituzten kezkak sakon aztertzeko.
Arreta berezia ere eskainiko diogu oihal-gaineko estanpazio digitalari, baita tinta eta oihal argiluminiszentez egindako produktu berrienei ere.
Ikastaroan parte hartuko du ere oihal elektronikoetan aditua den Miquel Ridaok.
